Established in 2010 as a franchise under the leadership of Cheri Sagehorn, THM Chicago has since undergone a transition to the expert guidance of Jeff Engler. Jeff joined TheHomeMag team in June 2009 as a sales professional and quickly progressed to the role of Publisher for the Tucson magazine after a few years of honing his skills. Jeff's leadership, combined with his ability to build and inspire teams, has resulted in the Tucson magazine becoming one of TheHomeMag's senior and most respected publications.
Buoyed by the success of the Tucson magazine, Jeff took on the challenge of leading the Columbus OH magazine as Publisher, where he continued to mentor and support his teams. In 2023, Jeff assumed the role of Publisher for the Chicago magazine, bringing his B2B sales and client care expertise to the Windy City. Jeff's dedication to providing exceptional service to every client has become the cornerstone of his leadership style, inspiring and motivating his teams in Tucson, Columbus, and now Chicago.
Christine Gourdin | Office Manager
Christine became a member of TheHomeMag team in August 2007, and was an integral part of the Tucson magazine launch. In October 2018, Christine began collaborating with the Columbus team, leveraging her extensive knowledge and adaptability to manage diverse tasks, enabling the seamless operation of all facets of the business.
Her exceptional skillset, combined with her unwavering commitment to excellence, has been instrumental in ensuring the continued success of the team and the satisfaction of our clients across Tucson, Columbus, and now Chicago.
Meg Mahalek | Account Executive
Meg joined TheHomeMag over 10 years ago as an Account Executive for the Chicago team. With a long-standing background in advertising amongst different industries and even overseas, she has the know-how to “Clear the Path” for her clients in order to bring success to their businesses. As a Chicago native, she has established roots in the surrounding areas which allows her to relate to her clients and the magazine as a true local.

April Bryant | Accounting Coordinator
April began with TheHomeMag in May 2015, joining the team in the Accounting and Finance division. Since then, April now assists all of our clients in Atlanta, D.C., and Chicago. There is a misnomer that accounting personnel cannot show empathy with clients while managing the financial component of the business. April is the shining example of exactly how to care for and work with clients without sacrificing her core skills.
